Privacy
The short version: there is no account, no login, and no profile. Your progress lives in your own browser.

What is stored on your device
Structures you mark as learned, specimens you bookmark, quiz scores, study notes, your study streak, and your display preferences are saved in your browser local storage. None of it is uploaded, and none of it is readable by us. Clearing your browser data, or using the reset button on the progress panel, erases all of it permanently.
Analytics
If aggregate analytics are enabled on this deployment, they record page views and country-level location only. They are not tied to an identity and cannot be traced back to an individual reader.
Advertising
This site may show advertising to cover hosting. Where ads are served by a third-party network, that network may set cookies or read a device identifier to choose which ad to show and to measure whether it was seen. That behaviour is governed by the network own privacy policy, not this one. In regions that require it, you will be asked for consent before any personalised advertising is served, and declining leaves the site fully usable.
Younger readers
This is educational material suitable for school use. No account is required and no personal information is requested at any point, so nothing identifying a reader of any age is ever collected.
Your data rights
Because nothing personal is collected or transmitted, there is no stored record to access, correct, export, or delete on our side. Your study notes can be exported as a Markdown file from the notes panel at any time, and deleted from the same place.
Changes
If what this site collects ever changes, this page changes with it, and the review date above is updated.
